We have a neighborhood watch program. Doesn’t that do the same thing?
Most neighborhood watch programs are passive by nature and do not provide the level of engagement with your property that Peace Of Mind Home Watch Services LV provides. We will check your property’s interior and exterior in far more detail than you can expect from a neighborhood watch program.
What is Peace Of Mind Home Watch Services LLC?
Peace Of Mind Home Watch Services LLC is a professional insured, bonded and accredited Home Watch Service serving the Las Vegas Valley, specifically Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, and Lake Las Vegas, Boulder City, Mesquite, and Pahrump. We check your property and identify problems or potential problems that can occur while your property is unoccupied, such as removing the debris and flyers, making sure that drains and toilets do not go dry, and also supervise and allow access to any contractors on property per the client. We also look for signs of insects and animals, and we also look for leaks from water heaters, A/C, pipes or other appliances. We provide a physical presence that is not available through a remote alarm monitoring service. We can help with most requests you have by contacting us.
Are you a house sitter service?
We are not a house sitter. Our core service includes periodic visits to your home where we follow a specific and mutually agreed upon checklist. We are in your home for less than an hour per visit and take great pride in making sure your home is as you left it for your return.
My alarm company provides security for my home. What value do you add?
An alarm company monitors entry into your home or fire alarms but they do not monitor potential problems that can occur due to broken pipes, mold, pests or vagrants. We identify those problems or the possibility of their occurrence and notify you for guidance.
How do you provide security for my home, keys, and information?
Your security is of the highest priority to us. First, your keys are stored in our safe and are never out in the open unless we are on a route that includes your home. Second, no one will enter your home that hasn’t been thoroughly screened or background checked. Third, and most important, we never drive up to your home with a marked vehicle to give away that your home is empty and is being watched by a home watch company! We feel it is a huge security risk and advertises that your home is empty!! We don’t even wear logo shirts when visiting your property!
Who are most of your clients and why do they use your services?
While most of our clients own vacation homes that they occupy sporadically throughout the year, we also take care of homes for seasonal residents (aka snowbirds), professional or business travelers, deployed military personnel, new homeowners who will move in at a later date, and home sellers who need to move prior to the sale of their home. We do not handle the direct rental of any property nor act as property managers.

Andy Martinez, a US Navy veteran, moved his family to Las Vegas in 2001 and has been a resident of the Las Vegas community for the last 23 years. With over 20 years of experience in the security systems industry (both commercial and residential-including cameras(CCTV)), he has had countless interactions and conversations with homeowners who have a need for home watching services without a trusted company to turn to for those services. He knew he would be the perfect person to provide quality service for those families. Andy’s passion is to help every homeowner protect their most precious asset, as well as take care of it when they are unable to be there themselves; to give them peace of mind.
